Researchers' Night is a Europe-wide initiative supported by Horizon Europe – MSCA (Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions).
This year's edition is also groundbreaking, as starting next year, the event will change its name to Night of Science (NOC VĚDY).
From 2026, Researchers' Night will be renamed to Night of Science, following a vote by the event's organizers. The name change reflects both a societal demand for gender-neutral terminology and the organizers' belief that the new name will not alter the character or long-standing mission of the event—to promote science and research in all their forms.
