Conference Open Science 2021

In November 18-19, 145 talented high school students stood before the professional jury. These young researchers presented 78 projects they had been working on over the past year. Eliška, Matyáš and Kristýna - interns from the Department of Nanocatalysis, who chose the work: Preparation and testing of nanocatalysts for green chemistry, led by doctoral student Stanislav Valtera, also presented their work at the conference. In their 7-minute presentation, they introduced how they prepared the catalysts, showed electron microscope images with their samples, and finally presented their results focused on the oxidative dehydrogenation of cyclohexene catalyzed with mixed nanoclusters.

We wish our trainees a lot of success in their future research!
